Hi there!

My name is Beth Smith, and portrait photography truly is my passion. I specialize in capturing the most precious moments and journeys in life; including: Maternity, Newborns, Children and Family, as well as Senior Portraits.

My Experience

I have been studying photography since 2002. My education began when I started taking classes at Harrisburg Area Community College when my oldest son entered kindergarten. I have since continued my education taking various classes including: Photoshop, Lightroom, 5 Sandy Puc Seminars, business management seminars, and most recently a Keri Meyers newborn portrait and safety seminar. I continue my education online and at in-person meetups. I have a full newborn studio within my home, which I love to use, but some of my favorite images have been those that were taken outdoors!

Fun Facts

  • I’m a “Boy Mom”. My husband, Rick and I have four boys. Even the dog, Presley, is a boy! My kids don’t love to get photos taken…I bribe them with food!

  • I am “beBe” to a grand-daughter.

  • I am also a hairstylist. I work at Escape Salon & Day Spa two days a week. I have been a stylist for 29 years.

  • I work out almost everyday at 5 AM (Crazy, I know!) with some great friends at the gym. I also enjoy yoga - it keeps my mobility as I chase your little ones!

  • I am a partner with a beauty brand - Monat. We specialize in hair care, skin care and wellness, a perfect add on to my salon and photography businesses.

  • Lastly, I offer Digital Marketing Courses! Geez - that sounds like a lot, but every last one of these aligns perfectly!
